My story is probably the most classic one.
It was the winter '03-04 and I got NHL 2003. I heard "Sick With You" there and after listening to it numerous times in the menus I downloaded some other Gob songs in '05 and got hooked into them seriously.
And wow, for now I've known Gob for over six years and been a fan for almost five years! Time goes on...

Quite simple for me. Patentti showed me some songs in 2005, I think... And since then I've more or less been into the band.

I bought the game NHL 2004 right when it came out and at that time I wasnt really into music that much, but then I heard Oh Ellen which is on the soundtrack. After that I bought a cd player and Foot in Mouth Disease and listened to it constantly before I bought all their other albums I could find. Gob has been my favourite band ever since then.

Well my story is very similar to everyone elses, but mine occured in the year 2001.
In the fall of 2001 I bought NHL 2002, the game featured the song "I Hear You Calling" which I really liked, it also played "No Regrets" and "For the Moment", which really got me hooked, Gob has been my favorite band since.
Also, the game introduced me to Sum 41, Treble Charger, and The Tea Party. Which are 3 of my favorite bands.
Before that game I rarely listened to music, now I have music on all the time.
But NHL 2002 had the greatest music of any game before or since... and it was a very fun game, my all time favorite

Haha, funny to see almost everyone found Gob by their fanship to hockey. I also found many great bands besides Gob from there, including Treble Charger and The Ataris.
I didn't listen to music too much before buying those games either, just what radio played. Now I find the stuff radio is playing awful.

At the time, I wasn't really into music. Zach (branko), had recently found out about them and got me into them. I thank Zach and Gob for the love of punk I have today.

Punk Rock 101 was on NHL 2004. Ok, I was going to say that Punk Rock 101 is the only song that would make sense

we got Cable in 1999 or 2000 and I found out about Much Music and I always use to watch that channle. I saw a gob music video on there checked out there website turned outthey only played Canada so wasn't really into them back then I found sum41 threw Much music they played The states so I was hooked.
Then Sum41 Brought GOB on Tour with them to the states in 2001 I saw so Pumped to see two awesome bands. I bought all three albums from GOB taht night for $20 TLNF,HFSTY,and WATG. and listen to them every day also got a picture with Tom and theo and craig the same night gabe was in the van already and he kind of looked pissed but thats how gabe looks haha.
then they came again i was front row for this show and gabe notice me sing along. got a drum stick some girl next to me stuck out her had to as gabe was handing it to me he gentley moved her hand out the way. seen them all 4 times they've came here. also they are the coolest guys and about the only band that still cares about fans and interaction up there with sum41 and fans.

Like a lot of you I was introduced to Gob by the NHL series. I was just starting to get into music around 03-04 and Gob was the first band I really got into after hearing their songs from NHL 02-04. Also heard Give Up The Grudge from Madden 2004 and a local radio station often played I Cut Myself Too. To this day they are still one of my favorite bands.
